RVN Pet Physio was founded in 2021 and offers a range of mobile Animal Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Treatments, delivered in the comfort of your home.
All sessions are carried out by Sophie Sparrow BSc(Hons), DipAnPhys, RVN who has been a qualified Veterinary Nurse for over 12 years, working with Small Animals in practice and Zoo Species at ZSL London Zoo as Senior Head Nurse.
As a qualified Animal Physiotherapist, Sophie is able to combine her experience of working and caring for animals, with a passion for canine physiotherapy and rehabilitation to help owners and their pets stay healthy and active.
We come to your home
Based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, RVN Pet Physio offers a Mobile Pet Physio service and covers a 10 Mile Radius across Leicestershire & Northamptonshire.
Outside of this area, an additional mileage charge of 40p per mile would apply.

The content and frequency of Follow-Up Pet Physio Sessions needed will be unique to every dog and will depend on the condition and rehabilitation that is required.
This will be discussed during your Initial Assessment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need Veterinary Consent?
Yes, the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 states that Veterinary Consent must be obtained by Veterinary Physiotherapists, prior to treatment commencing.
Your Pet should have been seen recently by their Vet for the condition that they have been referred for.
How do l get Veterinary Consent for Animal Physiotherapy?
RVN Pet Physio will contact your Veterinary Practice on your behalf to obtain Veterinary Consent. A full clinical history will also be requested at the time of referral.
Can l make an Insurance Claim for Animal Physiotherapy?
Animal Physiotherapy is widely covered by insurance companies but before commencing with treatment, please ensure to review your policy and contact your insurer to confirm that you will be able to make a successful claim.
RVN Pet Physio are more than happy to complete and submit insurance forms, but unfortunately cannot process direct claims.
